Director Zach Synder has finally found the actor who will play Jor-El in his upcoming, top secret, Man of Steel reboot. Yes, Russell Crowe! After he finishes up on his latest movie, The Man With Iron Fists, Russell Crowe will be reporting to the set of Zach Synder’s Man of Steel reboot to play the role of Superman?s biological father, Jor-El. Although it took me a second to wrap my head around this, Crowe does seem to be a good fit for the role of Kal-El?s stern and determined Kryptonian father. With filming set to kick off next month, the only bit of casting left on Synder?s plate is to fill the role of Crowe?s on screen wife, and biological mother to Clark Kent, Lara.
