Just one day after her family?s grueling trial came to a close, Jennifer Hudson was spotted having some much needed fun at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois on Saturday afternoon (May 12).
The ?Dreamgirls? star attended the theme park and rode roller coasters with her husband, David Otunga, as the two shared smiles and laughs while trying to lighten the mood dampened by the recent courtroom woes.
As for the Hudson family murder trial, jurors delivered a guilty verdict against William Balfour (Jen's former brother-in-law) who was charged with killing her mother, brother and nephew back in 2008.
The 30-year-old singer released a statement on Friday on behalf of herself and her sister, Julia, quoting Corinthians and asking God to forgive Balfour - this coming after the Hudson sisters spent the past three weeks in a Cook County courtroom while battling through brutal evidence from the horrific Chicago murders.
