Looking ready for a business meeting, Katie Holmes braved the Big Apple by stepping out of her apartment in New York City on Tuesday (June 26).
The former "Dawson's Creek" cutie kept her head down as she made her way to the waiting blacked-out SUV wearing high-waist black dress pants with a sleeveless black and white striped shirt.
Earlier today, Katie was spotted walking into her NYC apartment with her daughter, Suri Cruise, and carried a copy of the children's book "Brave Emily" from the American Girl doll company.

On the business front, the 33-year-old is currently filming an untitled Christian Camargo Project which is a modern remake of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull", set in rural New England.
Expected to hit theaters some time in 2013, the film follows a family who faces the fragile nature of love when reckless desire creates havoc over Memorial Day weekend.
