She?s an expert at self-promotion, but Lady Gaga is being sued for $10 million for allegedly mucking up a merchandising deal with MGA Entertainment.
The ?Edge of Glory? songstress is being charged with sabotaging the release of a Gaga doll by making changes to the design that precluded it from being released with her new album and perfume.
According to the suit, Gaga?s licensing company Bravado kept asking for modifications to the product such as removing a voice chip and making the doll more ?supermodel-like.?
However, Lady Gaga isn?t taking it lying down. Her rep told press, ?This is a dispute between Universal Music Group?s merchandising company and MGA. There was no legitimate reason for dragging Lady Gaga into that dispute. Lady Gaga will vigorously defend [against] MGA?s ill-conceived lawsuit and is confident that she will prevail.?
