Leonardo DiCaprio surprised locals in NYC today when he popped up in a gray suit to begin production on The Wolf of Wall Street. The project pairs Leo with his close friend and famed director Marin Scorsese as well as other major names like Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, and Oscar winner Jean Dujardin. The story takes place in the early 90's so Leo dressed in a retro attire and made out with a lucky lady on set. Leo's working a new look for the film, and has apparently shaved off the goatee he's been growing out since January. The facial hair was for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, but in this film he's taking on the part of clean cut banker.
Between projects Leo enjoyed a break from the spotlight that included a trip to France and a romantic getaway to Hawaii with girlfriend Erin Heatherton. Erin and Leo reconnected in NYC earlier this week and hung out with her fellow Victoria's Secret Angel, Lily Aldridge.
