A little more than a year after being acquitted of murdering her daughter, Casey Anthony has filed for bankruptcy in Florida.
Unable to find steady employment since the court proceedings ended, the 26-year-old mother of the late Caylee, listed her assets as $1,100 and her debts as $792,000.
Most of the debt stems from attorney fees related to her high-profile trial, as well as from IRS and medical expenses.
Also on Friday, an appeals court threw out two of four counts against Ms. Anthony for lying to authorities in relation to her daughters death.
