Report: Kristen Stewart Scores Lead in ?Lie Down in Darkness?

There?s no doubt her personal life is in utter turmoil as of late, but at least Kristen Stewart has something to look forward to career-wise.

The ?Adventureland? actress has reportedly signed on to play the lead role in the forthcoming drama ?Lie Down in Darkness.?

Based on the William Styron novel from 1951, the flick will be about a dysfunctional family living in Virginia, and Kristen will play a woman named Peyton Loftis.

Loftis is said to be the psychologically fragile daughter of a troubled couple, so the gig will likely be a new challenge for the ?Twilight Saga? star.
