Jennifer Aniston shows off her new short haircut in a selfie on Instagram. The dramatically shorter cut lops off several inches of her signature blond locks, but from her expression it’s clear that she’s thrilled with the results. The 44-year-old actress is seen in the photo with her longtime hair stylist Chris McMillan who then put the picture on Instagram for all to see. Previously we had glimpsed the new hairdo from numerous paparazzi photos. But this time Jennifer Aniston took charge. She’s also talked about the reason for the drastic change in a new interview with ELLE UK. It’s a cautionary tale, in fact. She says, “It wasn?t for a role. My hair went through a phase. I did this thing called a Brazilian and my hair did not react really well to it.’ While the Brazilian blowout is quite popular because it straightens hair and keeps it straight for up to three moths, it does have its risks.
