It was another shocking elimination on Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars. After weeks of low scores and sub-par performances, many thought Bristol Palin would finally get the ax.
But the results proved that popularity can weigh more heavily than dancing skills. The single mom, once again, avoided elimination and pop star Brandy and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were sent packing -- even though they had consistently wowed the judges with their fancy footwork.
"I'm in a lot of shock," Brandy told E! News, after the results. "But I'm very blessed to have been a part of something so amazing, where I can rediscover who I am, challenge myself and prove to myself that if I really commit to something and give it my all, I can be success."
Though he's known for being hot-tempered, Chmerkovskiy, took the elimination in stride.
"People vote and their voices count," he said. "I don't regret a second...of being on this season. It's been an amazing journey."
With Brandy out, only three dancers are left in the competition: Palin, Jennifer Grey, and Kyle Massey.
