It doesn?t open in theaters until March 23, 2012, but ?The Hunger Games? is already creating all kinds of hype among moviegoers.

And there are now several new pictures of Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Lawrence as their characters Peeta, Gale, and Katniss, respectively.

The flick is about a dystopic Capitol ?which requires its twelve subjugated districts to pay tribute in the form of a teenage boy and girl, forced to participate in the annual ?Hunger Games.??

It turns out the ?Hunger Games? is a televised fight-to-the-death event where only one contestant makes it out alive.
