Amping up fans' excitement for their sequel film, Universal Pictures released the red band trailer for "Kick-Ass 2" on Friday (July 19) during Comic-Con International.
In the four and a half minute clip, eager viewers get a chance to see a glimpse of the upcoming action and comedic storyline while waiting for the August 16th release date.
The highly-anticipated follow-up film is officially described as follows: "The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows."
