Or that she has an “army?” Three weeks later, we are still talking about her. How prophetic was her song, “We Can’t Stop?” What did she know about us that we didn’t yet know? We wait daily for the next celebrity to weigh in on the issue of the day. And no, it’s not Syria, it’s not the debt ceiling. It’s not even the suddenly surging stock market. It’s Miley Cyrus’s notorious twerking performance at the MTV VMAs. Given that there is no distinction these days between notoriety and fame, then this is brilliant marketing by whomever has masterminded this prelude to the release of her Bangerz album on October 8.
