‘Fast & Furious’ Star Paul Walker is dead at age 40. He has died a sudden, shocking and untimely death in a fiery car crash near Santa Clarita, California, just moments after attending a charitable event. One hoped against hope that this was yet another Twitter hoax. That is always the hope, isn’t it? But sadly the news was true, and confirmed by multiple reports in media as well as the official statement from Universal Studios, producer of the “Fast & Furious” movies as well as a post at Paul Walker’s Facebook fan page. It was a two-person, one car accident, and Paul Walker was the passenger in the vehicle, a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. Media reports later identified the driver as Roger Rodas, the CEO of Walker’s car company. He also died in the crash. There were also multiple witnesses, some of whom captured on video — now uploaded to YouTube — the crash and the attempts of onlookers to rescue him and the driver.
