Adding another exciting character into the mix, "New Girl" signed Linda Cardellini to play Jess' sister.
The "Freaks and Geeks" star comes on as Zooey Deschanel's character's wild sibling in a recurring role that begins filming this week.
Though her episodes won't air until February, a few other famous faces are also joining the gang this season.
Adam Brody has been cast as an ex-boyfriend of Jess and musical legend Prince will appear in the big Super Bowl episode.
