Taylor Kitsch Says ?Good Morning America?

Kicking off a day of press duties, Taylor Kitsch was spotted at ABC Studios in Times Square, New York City this morning.

The ?Friday Night Lights? stud was in the house for an interview on ?Good Morning America? regarding his new film ?John Carter.?

Of his character in the flick, Taylor explained, ?When you meet him in the film, he?s truly a broken guy. He?s lost his cause in the Civil War, he?s lost his family, and as you do, he gets transported up to Mars, and on Mars he gets another kick at love, and to find that purpose in himself.?

As for the physical demands of the role, Kitsch noted, ?It was an 11-month regimen from start to finish. [When I was done] I had a good case of beer and I had like three or four whole pizzas.?
