An up and comer in the world of movie-making, Shailene Woodley showed up as expected at the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25).
Taking to the Santa Monica locale, the 20-year-old actress looked gorgeous as she ventured about the purple carpet ahead of the annual beachfront event.
During the festivities, Miss Woodley will be competing for Best Female Lead honors for her work in Best Feature contender "The Descendants".
Meanwhile, the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Seth Rogen handling the hosting duties.
