Naomi Watts Walks Out of Radio Interview

Knee-deep in promotional duties for her role as Princess Diana in the upcoming biopic, Naomi Watts reportedly walked out of a radio interview on Tuesday (September 3).

During an interview on the show, "Kermode & Mayo" on BBC Radio 5, host Simon Mayo claims he doesn't know why the 44-year-old actress bolted.

On Tuesday, the host tweeted, "A first for me and @wittertainment as Naomi Watts walked out of an interview! She seemed a tad uncomfortable with the questions. Shame."

When one follower asked if the interview would air on Friday, Mayo replied, "it's for next week I think. Ron Howard this week. He stayed for the full interview."

As fans clamored for answers, he insists he doesn't know the cause, tweeting, "The honest answer is I have no idea. You know my hectoring style is always a problem."

Later, someone asked if he suggested to the "Impossible" star that playing the Princess of Wales at the end of her life "might not be in best possible taste," but he fired back, "No, not at all. Didn't express any opinion. Still baffled."
