Taking care of some promotional duties, Carey Mulligan paid a visit to the "Today" show on Monday (January 6).
On hand to talk about her latest film,"Inside Llewyn Davis," the English actress chatted with Matt Lauer about singing in films and her preference not to.
Mr. Lauer even reminded her of a past interview in which she claimed she would rather go nude in a movie than sing. Asked if that is still true, Carey replied, "That's true in a weird way. In the context of this film, we had the most incredible people ... T-Bone Burnett produced all the music and he's a living legend. And Justin Timberlake, I have to sing with him, and he's a decent singer."
Though she is married to singer Marcus Mumford, she admitted, "I spare everybody my singing apart from when I do it in films."
