Unable to make the lifelong commitment to one another, Ginnifer Goodwin and Joey Kern have called off their engagement while ending their relationship.
A source close to the "Big Love" actress and her now former beau told People magazine that the duo "broke up a few weeks ago."
Insiders add that the parting wasn't on nasty terms - as Miss Goodwin, 32, and Mr Kern, 34, plan to remain friends.
The split comes after Ginnifer and Joey proudly announced their engagement back in December 2010 after two years of togetherness.
