?Transformers: Dark of the Moon? Release Date Moved Up

It?s one of the most anticipated films of the year, and ?Transformer: Dark of the Moon? is being released two days ahead of schedule.

The action/adventure flick was originally set for release on Friday, July 1st, but it was just bumped up to Wednesday, June 29th.

"Early response to footage, especially the 3-D footage, has been great so we want to get the word out that this film is as good or better than the first and much better than the last," an insider told Deadline. "It's the only action movie opening between June 24th and July 15th."

Confident in his third ?Transformers? movie, director Michael Bay told press, "I think it takes awhile to get it right," he added. "I think we did not want the third one to suck."
