Making a statement in favor of gay marriage rights, Miley Cyrus posted a picture of an ?equal? sign on her finger on her Twitter page over the weekend.
The ?Party in the USA? songstress added a caption to the image to clarify the meaning- ?All love is equal.?
And of course, there has been plenty of backlash against Cyrus, especially considering that she claims to be a Christian, and homosexuality is widely denounced in the Church.
One follower asked her where she finds license for being gay in the Bible, to which Miley responded, "Where does it say in the Bible to judge others? It doesn't. GOD is the only judge, honey. God is love."
She added, "Everyone is entitled to their opinions. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for everything."
